Dr. Papanikolaou is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist Surgeon specialized in Reproductive medicine /infertility. He has completed his Master’s at the University of Athens: Research on Female Reproduction. He is qualified by the European Academy of Gynecological Surgery with a Bachelor in Endoscopy Certificate and by the Hellenic Society to perform colposcopy procedures, and by the Ministry of Health to perform gynecological and obstetric sonography. Dr. Papanikolaou Athanasios graduated from Medicine and Surgery at the University of the Bologna Studies on 12/10/2005 and has been qualified as a doctor and surgeon on 03/2006 and he has completed his Master at the University of Athens: Research on Female Reproduction. He is qualified by the European Academy of Gynecological Surgery with a Bachelor in Endoscopy Certificate and by the Hellenic Society to perform colposcopic procedures, and by the Ministry of Health to perform gynecological and obstetric sonography.
After the degree in Medicine and Surgery he returned to Greece, his country of origin to perform his military service as a medical officer. The following is a 12-month period of clinical experience, where he works as a basic doctor in rural areas requiring health care. Immediately afterwards, he enters the Medical and Surgery Special in Gynaecology and Obstetrics at the University Clinical of Athens, where he successfully concludes his Specialisation in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. Currently maintains a private office in Athens and he is a member of Institute of Life where he in everyday practice helps many couples to solve their infertility problems according to the latest guidelines and protocols from the international societies.
Dr. Papanikolaou has participated in many publications and conferences.
