Maternity –Health is a medical clinic dedicated to women’s health. The Assisted Reproduction Department was established in 2000 by Dr. Dimitrios Minaretzis and the clinical embryologist Penelope Michas. Since then, more than 3000 babies have been born.
We introduce and practice the concept of one doctor along with one embryologist providing continuous and individualized treatment from beginning to end of the IVF procedure This results in minimizing variability and increasing consistency and reproducibility of treatments (individualized treatment).
We analyze, together with the couple, their subfertility issues and past treatments, aiming to develop a highly personal and customized strategy, with the consistent attention of the same doctor and embryologist throughout the process. (problem analysis and decision-making process).
Our goal is to ensure effective treatments and avoid costly IVF add-ons unsupported by high-quality evidence (application of evidence-based medicine).
Negative emotions generated from infertility, social issues and treatment results are recognized and discussed.
