Femto Lasik

Femto-LASIK procedure is identical to that of classic LASIK. The only difference is in the preparation of the corneal flap.
With LASIK the corneal flap is made in a mechanical way by means of a blade and a motorized keratome. On the other hand, FemtoLASIK corrects the defective vision (short-sightedness, long-sightedness and astigmatism), uses a femtosecond laser to create the flap through photo disruption. As such, the cornea no longer needs to be cut with a mechanical but the operation occurs entirely through the use of laser technology.
The procedure only lasts for a few minutes and a few hours later good sight is recovered.
